ELEMENTARY SUNDAY SCHOOL

9:25 a.m. every Sunday, September through May
New Life Lutheran Church has an active Sunday School for children ages three through 6th grade. Approximately thirty-five children regularly attend Sunday School, learning about God's love, His role in their lives, and the stories of the Bible through lessons and crafts. Sunday School children also provide special music at worship service on a regular basis. Members and non-members are welcome.



HIGH SCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL

9:25 a.m. every Sunday, September through May

New Life Lutheran Church offers a class to high school students in grades 7 through 12. Students participate in discussion and activities lead by our Youth Director, Graham Sibley. This class focuses on topics that are relevant to the faith journey during the teen years. Members and non-members are welcome.



VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

One week every summer.

New Life Lutheran Church welcomes children of the entire community to join the fun at Vacation Bible School in the summer. Themes vary from year to year but are always a blast, allowing the kids to enjoy fun times indoors and out while learning about the Christian faith in a fun and exciting way. Music, crafts, food, fellowship, fun and faith...that's what NLLC Vacation Bible School is all about!



FIRST COMMUNION

5th grade students

Several weeks of instruction are given to New Life Lutheran Church 5th graders prior to taking part in their first communion. On First Communion Sunday, students are recognized, given a certificate and then are invited to the altar with their family and friends to partake in their first communion.



CONFIRMATION

Grades 7, 8 and 9

New Life Lutheran Church offers a 2-year confirmation program. In the past this has been for students in grades 8 and 9. However, for the next 2 years (2011-2012 and 2012-1013) we wil be having 7th, 8th, and 9th grades as we transition from 8th and 9th grades to 7th and 8th grades.  This year's course of study will be a focus on Martin Luther's Small Catechism, with corresponding Bible studies and related topics.  Our Youth Director, Graham Sibley, will lead the classes with assistance from Pastor Paul Huso.  Confirmation classes will meet on Wednesdays during the school year.



YOUTH GROUP

Grades 7 through 12

The Youth Group for grades 7 through 12 meets every two weeks for discussion and fun times September through May. The group maintains an active schedule with yearly mission trips and involvement in local and national youth gatherings. The NLLC Youth also participate in service projects in the community.



TRIPS AND CAMP

Grades 7 through 12

The Youth of the congregation have opportunities to attend various camps, mission trips, national youth gatherings, and synod gatherings.
